Sheffield United’s new £17 million hotel is taking shape at Bramall Lane. United have teamed up with international company Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc to operate a four-star hotel which will include 158 bedrooms, executive suites, a modern bar, fitness suite and restaurant.Yorkshire based company GMI Construction Group plc is building the facility and BLE Security have won the contract from Bailey Building Services in Sheffield to provide CCTV, Fire and Safety systems on the project.Martin Webster BDM for the north east area said “This is our first collaboration with our divisional partners from BLE Fire and Lighting and we hope to continue this relationship on more projects of a similar scale in the future”.The hotel is due for completion by November 2008
